These days, everyone and their creative department are trying like mad to “go viral.” Of course trying to “go viral” is like trying to make people show up to a party – you never know for sure it’s going to happen. But maybe marketers should look over this list of the 100 most iconic web videos and see if they can find a commonality.
(Good luck with that, by the way.)
It’s actually somewhat encouraging that many of them are either a flat-out marketing idea or something professionally produced to market a product (I’m including music videos and the odd spec idea in here, too). Out of the 100, here are the ones I found that fit that description.
