Once, during a game of Pictionary, I drew “Handcuffs” and my partner guessed “Telepathic Chickens.” I’m not sure what that said about my partner, but I do know what it says about my drawing ability – namely, I can’t. Luckily, as a copywriter, I don’t need to. That’s also why I love my art directors so much.
I’m not sure if Illustrated by Copywriters proves or disproves my point. It’s a site made from copywriter-created art work. Some of it is decent. Some of it you may think looks like telepathic chickens. If you’re a writer, feel free to submit something to the blog. Me? I’ll stick to Pictionary.
