How’s this for irony?

Do you remember Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax? It was an early environmental story where the Lorax protects the truffula trees. So it’s the definition of irony that a coal company adopted the name for their business – LoraxAG.
Of course morals and legality aren’t high on the list of coal company priorities, so it turns out they used the name without permission. And now the Seuss estate and their lawyers are suing the crap out of them.
I would have never put anything past a coal company, but this really takes the cake.

I watched that animated special with my 3yr old. It was really depressing. Her take away early on was, “why doesn’t the Lorax just leave?”
