If there’s one thing that all really great, emotional creative advertising has in common, its that it tells a story. And man does this spot for HBO Boxing tell a story. I’ve read (but not confirmed) that it’s a spec spot, but regardless, it’s done beautifully. If this wouldn’t make you watch the guy’s first fight, I don’t know what would. Beautiful work.
