Funny? Offensive? Or just lame?


I’ll cut to the chase on this one, because this 2:22 video certainly doesn’t. It was made by Air New Zealand. It spends way too long milking the cougar analogy. There’s only one even mildly funny part (“Enya…or the Eurythmics!”). And after nearly two-and-a-half minutes of my life I’ll never get back, I have no idea what GrabaSeat is, what they’re selling or what they want me to do.

So is it funny or degrading – like some rape prevention groups are claiming? Who really cares? It’s really just bad advertising that insults our intelligence, wastes our time, and throws away client money without communicating the first thing about their service.
