If you’ve missed this story while debating the merits of healthcare reform or curing cancer, shame on you. It’s Paris Hilton, back in another crappy TV spot that for some reason has people up in arms. And not just any people – the Brazilians. I mean, if the Brazilians are freaking out about this commercial for Devassa Bem Loura beer, it’s got to be scandalous, right?

Um… no.

Read through the comments on this Ad Age article. I think I agree with John from Cary, NC: “This smells like a crafty agency drumming up PR buzz with an investigation to give their spots more reach.”

If that’s really the case, it’s too bad they were crafty instead of even remotely creative.
