Banksy makes his own theater.

If you haven’t heard about Banksy’s new documentary Exit Through The Gift Shop, you’re probably one of about 5 people in advertising who hasn’t. But if you haven’t seen the venue he created under the Waterloo subway station to show it, you’re really missing out.

The 150-seat theater will not only host screenings for “normal people”, it also features some new artwork from the urban art legend.

I’m constantly amazed at Banksy’s ability to create instant pop culture. He’s got this innate sense for what’s cool and how to put on a show. I think his head would explode if it was put to advertising use, but it’s a talent we all wish we had. Read an interview with Banksy and see more of the theater.
