Visa, Amex or stocks?


I love it when businesses take advantage of current events and get creative with their promotions. Check out this one for New York steakhouse Smith & Wollensky. Not only will they accept cash or credit as payment for dinner, they’ll also take stock certificates.

The print ad is here and there are banner ads running as well, but you should check out the website. The copywriting is quite good. They even have a “Stock to Steak Currency Converter” where you can plug in your stock symbol and they’ll tell you how much dry aged steak it’ll buy.
