The more things change, the more they stay the same.


Did we just go over this less than a year ago? Didn’t all the American automakers promise to do better advertising? What the hell happened? Is this commercial my bailout money at work? Because if it is, I want it back.

No idea. No concept. No true consumer benefit. Just a single product feature (31 mpg), a bunch of generic adjectives, some even more generic car shots and one little tacked-on URL at the end for about 1 second.

Seriously – how fucking hard is it to give me just one good reason to buy your car?

    “31mpg, 305 Hp V6” Sometimes the feature and the benefit are the same thing. Since the Hp went right by you, I’m going to go ahead and guess you’re not the target audience for this.
