AT&T, welcome to social media.


Oh the hilarity that ensues when giant, crappy companies like AT&T open themselves up to the social media hordes. Check out their nearly 600,000-strong Facebook page and enjoy all the venom spewed onto a few helpless AT&T social media community managers. These kids clearly have very little power to make things right for the consumer, yet they stand there against the cresting wave of hate and throw out:

“We’re so sorry about this and we want to make it right. Can you email us with your contact information at with a little info on the situation so that we can have the local team reach out to you? We want to make sure we address this. Thanks.”

Oh AT&T, you had no idea what you were getting into when your agency recommended a Facebook page, did you?
