I love great print (or: Why God is in the details).
Just look at this awesome, awesome poster series for the 44th Kent State Folk Festival in Kent, Ohio. The headlines are beautifully crafted – smart, funny, and not a single word wasted. And the art direction is so well-thought out. The unplugged electrical cord used as a border is one of those excellent touches that a lesser art director wouldn’t have thought of. He also resisted the urge to go overboard with the distressing or other graphic elements.
Kids – this is how you do print. And especially print with no visual.
