Will anyone care to turn a life around?


Ok, this is a nice thought – they’re billboards running in Wisconsin that, starting May 2 will say “Turn a life around” in support of fostering children. But here’s the thing – people will see these copy-less boards and not think twice about them, and when they’re flipped they might read the message. But you’ve just wasted half your media buy with no message getting to anyone.

Couldn’t you have crafted a message that’s compelling enough that would run the entire time? Seems like they’ve let being clever get in the way of being clear.
