You don’t mess with Disney. Everyone knows that. Christ, they even got the government to change copyright laws just to protect Mickey Mouse. So when you’re selling your raspberry ale, the last thing you probably want to do is to run an ad with Snow White in an eight-way. But that’s apparently what Australian Brewer Jamieson Brewery did to tout their beer as “anything but sweet.”
The agency that created it, The Foundry, has admitted they’ve had “a little bit of contact” with Disney since it ran. I’m guessing they’ll have a lot of contact with the Disney lawyers real soon.
